Latest Stock Portfolios - July 14, 2010

The LSI Dividend Portfolio is now $159,829.63 as of 7/12/10 close. Since inception in October of 2008, this is a 62% increase, versus an 8% return of the S&P500.
I have taken profits in the last two months on several very profitable recommendations and suggested a couple of Spanish special situations that are finally working out. Later tonight I will post a more descriptive writeup. In the meantime, here's the most current set of recommendations along with two new BUY trade ideas.

I continue to take gains and suggest you allocate the capital to new trade ideas that are more current.

The LSI Growth Portfolio was $147,454.54 as of 6/14/10 close.
The biggest gainer was Brasil Foods (NYSE:BRFS) up 88% since recommended and Vale (NYSE:VALE) up 76% since the April 2009 recommendation. I will be looking for ways to raise some cash for a new idea or two.

The LSI ETF Portfolio was $127,666.41 as of 6/1/10 close.
The biggest gainer was iShares MSCI Brazil (NYSE:EWZ) up 42% since my initial recommendation. EWZ serves as a benchmarck for Brazilian stocks, with its large capitalization focus. The two largest stocks in that ETF are Petrobras (NYSE:PBR) and and Vale (NYSE:VALE). These two names are currently also in the LSI Growth Portfolio.

Greece received a 14.5 billion euro ($17.9 billion) emergency loan from the European Union today. This is just the first payment on the 110-billion euro aid package that Greece has received from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund.
