Canada, Australia, and Brazil stocks present great investment opportunities

Tue, 09/07/2010 - 15:12
Rudy Martin

We all know that the global economy is still struggling and in danger of falling into the second stage of a double-dip recession. That danger is especially pronounced for the G-4 nations – the United States, the euro zone, the United Kingdom and Japan. But there are pockets of strength throughout the world in Canada, Australia and Brazil – young, commodity-exporting democracies that offer investors the best of both worlds: safety and the opportunity for huge gains.

Hear about specific stock picks in each of those three countries from Sean Brodrick and Rudy Martin in this video.

Stocks mentioned:
Petrobras (NYSE:PBR), Vale (NYSE:VALE), Monsanto (NYSE:MON),AGCO Corporation (NYSE:AGC) and others.

Housing boom fuels growth in Brazil, Mexico and Chile

Fri, 07/02/2010 - 19:22
Latin Capital Market Issue #20Latin Stock Investing | July 2, 2010

Dear Subscriber,

Our Latin American dividend-paying stocks posted a great month, especially the utilities. During the last month the U.S. stock prices fell 7%. In contrast, the LSI Dividend portfolio gained 8.4% to end at $154,052. It seems no matter what the world economic outlook, people still need water, electricity, food and housing.

What could slow Latin America's housing boom? Consider what's going on in Brazil.
